ATN News is the first 24-hour news oriented Television Channel in Bangladesh. ATN News officially went on air since June 7, 2010 with the slogan in Bengali “বাংলার ২৪ ঘণ্টা”, meaning 24 hours of Bangladesh.

The Channel grew up with a band of devoted, enthusiastic journalists, cameraman & Technician of the Country who have already achieved fame at both domestic and international levels. ATN News continues its activities in a bid to present authentic and politically unbiased news to the audience in nook and corners of Bangladesh and also around the World.

Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman is the Chairman & Managing Director of ATN News.

World class television journalist and media personality Mishuk Munier joined ATN News as CEO and chief editor in November 2010. He worked with the TV station until his death on 13 August 2011. Noted Bangladeshi journalist Abed Khan took over the role of CEO and chief editor in 2011; he remained in that post until his resignation on 20 April 2013.

Currently, Md. Mosharrof Hossain works as Executive Director of ATN News.
